Obituary Robert Lee Scott |
Robert Lee Scott was born Ma 14, 1963 to Dolores and Claude L. Scott in Washington, D. C. He departed this earth on Sunday Jan. 14thfor eternal life after a two-year period of illness. Robert was educated at Cardozo H.S. in Washington, D. C. He loved life and people. He was always willing to help others. If you found yourself in an unexpected bind, you could always count on Robert to come to your rescue. He was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. He was also full of mischief, teasing, and could trick you into believing whatever he told you. Sometimes his little crooked smile and eyes that would light up the darkest room would give the trick away, not often though. Robert loved sports. He played basketball, enjoyed boxing matches, and was an avid Redskins fan! On June 5, 1999 he married his high school sweetheart, Senora Thompson. they were inseparable and were together for a wonderful eighteen and a half years before marrying a year and a ba4rago. Robert was employed by Georgetown University Hospital where he was a dedicated, faithful, employee for sixteen years. He was a member of St. Augustine Church.
Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories; his loyal, devoted wife Senora; a loving daughter, Ebony Scott; loving parents Claude & Dolores Scott; five loving sisters, Elizabeth Duncan; Akua Harris; Wanda Burt; Patricia Harris and Cheryl Scott; grandmother, Alease Scott; a loving mother-in-law Odessa Thompson; four uncles, Lawrence and john Harris; Albert and Willie Lee; three aunts, Lanita Odom; Elaine Chiles and Hazel Byrdsong, four brothers-in-law, John Burt; John L., Ivan, and Pinkney Thompson; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Thompson and Madge-Thompson Gonzalez.
