He was a Christian who knew Christ, a humanitarian-loving others and forgetting himself. John's greatest joy and happiness came from helping others, never tiring; always smiling. He was a God given husband and father, his endless efforts, profound patience, and wonderful wisdom, these fine qualities, in addition to his constant demonstration of husband and fatherly love, and his faith in God filled our home with happiness and filled our hearts with love. His care and love for his children and grandchildren played an important part in molding their lives and strengthening the care and concern they have for each other.
