Obituary  James Marshall McCard, Jr.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)

Mr. James Marshall McCard, Jr., was the son of the late James Marshall McCard, Sr. and Frances Johnson McCard. He was born on August 27, 1922, in Washington, D.C., where he attended the D.C. James Marshall McCard, Jr., was known as, "Jimmy", but was even more affectionately called "Brother" by the members of his family and close friends. We all loved "Brother" for his sense of humor, love of people, and cheerful, optimistic attitude towards life.

in Brother's younger day, you could not have found a more happy-go-lucky guy. He was the life of any party. His quick wit, cheerful smile, and hearty laugh kept him the center of all attention. Brother simply loved people.

As Brother entered the final days of his life, he realized that the intercessory prayers of his family members had spared his life. Brother appreciated everyone's love and support, and he told us. God does answer prayer.
