Obituary Andre Thomas Chambers

Andre Thomas Chambers was the second son of the late Mr. John W.Chambers, Sr. and Mrs. Betty V. Chambers. He was born on September 24, 1950 in Washington, DC and departed this life on Monday March 21, 2011 at George Washington University Hospital.

 

Andre attended and graduated from public schools in Washington, DC.

 

Andre never ventured far from Washington, DC other than a short time during his elementary school years, when he lived with his Grandmother in North Carolina.

 

Andre was ill for extended time and suffered. However, as it is written in 1 Peter chapter 4,"FORASMUCH then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourself likewise with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin".

 

Andre was mechanically inclined and loved to work on one of the many cars and vans he owned over the years. He was the jokester and always was smiling or telling some funny story.

 

Andre Thomas Chambers leaves to mourn one son: Andre Chambers, Jr.; two daughters: Marsha Luter and Renee Chambers, seven grandchildren: Corey, Jasmine, fames, Willis, Marcus, Rodjana and Dajanae; three sisters: Linda Chambers, Carleeta Gilchrist, and

Paula Skipper; one brother-in-law: Raymond Skipper, a devoted friend: Joan Holt a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
