Worley was a carpenter and a farmer. He knew that he wanted to own his

Worley and Aldonia worked as a team, exemplified by him working as a

the hired help on the farm managed by Aldonia. He became especially

When his daughter, Alberta, took her boyfriend to meet her parents, she
introduced them to each other in the tobacco field. After meeting "Mr.
Worley", Jackie immediately began helping him prime tobacco. lt was
later that he told
Alberta, "You need to marry him, because that big man can
work". That was the beginning of a long and devoted relationship that
lasted over 40 years, until the day he died.
