Mr. Samuel Charlie
Logan, born May 29, 1940 in Vaughan, North Carolina, departed this life
April 30, 1988 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, after a
long illness.S.C. was the son of George and Ruth
C. Guerrant, Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was reared by his loving, caring, and beautiful grandparents, the late
Samuel C. and Sophia Adams. After their death, and his health failed, the
loving care and help given to him by his aunt, Bettie Brown, was
indispensable. Also, help was given to him from his brother, George M.
Adams, and others who are too many to mention.He
joined Stokes Chapel Baptist Church at an early age.His
education was received at the James E. Shepard High School in Zebulon, N. C.He worked as a farmer and logman
until his health failed. He leaves to mourn: his parents, George and Ruth
C. Guerrant, Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;
two brothers, George M. Adams of Zebulon and Gustiegall
G. Guerrant of Philadelphia, Pa.; four aunts,
Mrs. Aldonia Pace of Wendell, Mrs. lantha Harris of Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Bettie E.
Brown of Zebulon, and Mrs. Olovia Pulley of
Spring Hope; two uncles, Mr. Jarious W. Adams of
Zebulon; and Mr. George Adams of Philadelphia, Pa.; one sister-in-lawlay, Mrs. Shirley Adams of Zebulon; seven nieces and
nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Show me the way,Not to fortune and fame, Not to how to win
