Mr. Paul Adams was
born to the late George and Gollia Adams on
August 27, 1923 in Johnston County, North Carolina.
He spent his earlier years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before
returning home about ten years ago. Paul was a member of the White Oak Hill
Baptist Church.
On Sunday, June 15, 1986, he departed this life at Rex Hospital,
Raleigh, North Carolina.
He leaves behind: five children, Paula, Linda, Susan, Ruby and Jean
Adams all of Philadelphia, Pa.; seven sisters, Mrs. Catherine Gitney, Mrs. Eunice Tocas and
Mrs. Laura Cooke all of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Lois Alston of Raleigh,
Mrs. Alberta Williams of Wendell, Ms. Marie Adams of Spring Hope and Ms.
Irene Adams of Zebulon; a niece with whom she was reared, Mrs. Clara Kaigler of Hope Mills, N.C.; four brothers, Weldon
"Buck" Adams of Middlesex, Jerris Adams
of Zebulon, Youngford Adams of New Jersey and
George Adams of Philadelphia, Pa.; three grandchildren; a host of other
relatives and friends.
