Otis Brandon, son of the late Osh and Sirah Williams Brandon, was born June 1.8, 1899 in'Granville County, North Carolina, and departed this life Thursday, August 8, 1985 in Oxford, North Carolina.

 

He was a self-employed farmer during most of his life.

 

Dur 4 ng his youth, he joined Ilong Baptist Church, and here he waxed hard in the love and knowledge of our

 

On December 30, 1922, he was united in holy matrimony with Ida Hargrove, who survives this union.

 

Also surviving are three sons, Lloyd Brandon of East Orange, New Jersey, Cornell Brandon of Henderson, North Carolina, and Joseph Brandon of Bowie, Maryland; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Sydnor of Baltimore, Maryland, and Mrs. Meta Dulaney of Longview, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Peace of Oxford, and Mrs. Annie Bell Taylor of Raleigh, North Carolina; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous relatives and remembering friends.
