Mrs. Mary Ann Johns Craddock, daughter of Mrs. Mary T. Johns, and the late McKeever Johns was born in Wake County, North Carolina on February 19, 1936. She departed this life November 29, 1973 in Philadelphia, Penn.

 

She longed to be among God's chosen ones on the day of judgement, and feeling this need, she joined the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at an early age. After moving away she maintained her contact with the church by uniting with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa.

 

Because she was friendly and cheerful she was endeared to her family and gained many friends.

 

The following mourn her passing: her husband, Mr. David Craddock of Philadelphia, Pa., four daughters, Misses Sabrina, Mary Elizabeth, Ailene and Robbin all of the home. Her mother, Mrs. Mary T. Johns of Philadelphia, Pa.; one aunt, Mrs. Lillian Wood of Garner; one uncle Mr. Paul Thorpe of Wendell and many other relatives and friends.

 

Her lovely smile we'll never forget Although the glowing sun has set; We hope to meet her by and by In her home beyond the sky.
