Dear family and friends. We, again, have lost one of our beloved family member; La Verne Green Williams. Please keep the williams family lifted up in prayer. La Verne Green Williams is the sister of Clint Green.
La Verne Green Williams was born in Granville County, North Carolina on June 6, 1957, to the parentage of the late Ervin Green and Mary Frances Wortham Green. She entered into eternal life on Thursday morning, November 26, 2020 at Pearson Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina. La Verne was reared in Granville County, North Carolina. She graduated from J.F. Webb High School. She received her Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) License from Vance Granville Community College. She was employed with Murdoch Center in Butner, North Carolina, where she dedicated 10 years of service. La Verne also began private duty work as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) until her health declined. La Verne was united in Holy matrimony to the late Robert L. Williams Sr.; to this union, two sons were born. La Verne will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family; two sons, Robert L. Williams Jr. (Bernitta) of Blythewood, SC and Raeford R. Williams of Creedmoor, NC; two brothers Harold L. Green and Clinton Green (Sonia) both of Oxford, NC; one sister, Ella Green Rodriguez Lodygowski of Oxford, NC. eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a vast number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside service will be conducted 12:00 P.M. Friday December 4, 2020 at Meadowview Memorial Park by Reverend Hunter. The family of Mrs. La Verne Williams would like to thank everyone for all acts of kindness extended to them during the passing of their loved one.
