Mr. James H. Hines
was born May 30, 1920 to the late Alex and Hattie Hines.
He made preparations for his soul at an early age. He became a member
of the Good Hope Baptist Church and remained a member until his death.
He attended Wake County Public Schools and served in the United States
Army.
He departed this life May 28, 1993 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh,
North Carolina.
James leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Pauline Hines of the
home; four sons, Walter, Sr. and Walter, Jr. both of Raleigh, James Paul of
Greensboro, and Edward Owen of the home; two sisters, Various Hall and Deloriase Hines both of Raleigh; three brothers,
Rayfield Hines and J. C. Hines both of Knightdale, and Kenneth Hines of
Raleigh; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of
other relatives and friends.
