James Edward Brandon
was born on September 21, 1928 in Vance County North Carolina to the union
of the late Cleveland and Eulelia Brandon. On Thursday, January 20, 2005 at
Laurels of Forest Glenn Nursing Home in Garner, North Carolina, God in His
infinite wisdom called our beloved to rest.
James attended Shawtown High School in Lillington, NC. He served our
country for three years in the U.S. Army and immensely enjoyed the
handiwork of bricklaying for over 30 years. James was a member of The
Living Waters Full Gospel Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.
James had a loving spirit that transcended to all who knew him. He will
be remembered for his sense of humor and his compassion to help others. His
laughter and contagious smile will forever linger in our hearts.
Memories of James will be cherished by: his wife, Beatrice; one
daughter, Dejuana, Raleigh, NC; one sister, Jessie Burwell, Raleigh, NC;
three brothers, Wendell Brandon, Bunn Level, NC, Roger Brandon, Apex, NC
and Cleveland Brandon, Morristown, NJ; one uncle, David Brandon, Durham,
NC; one sister-in-law, Louise Brandon, Raleigh, NC; and a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
