Ms. Ida Mae Holder was born in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late David Holder and Evelyn Holder Jones. She was reared in the home of the late Deacon Anderson Jones. She departed this earthly life on January 9, 2016 at her home in Lucama NC surrounded by her family.
Ida Mae Joined the Stokes Chapel Baptist Church at an early age, where she remained a member until her death. She was a kind and gentle person with a quiet nature. She loved caring for children and cooking.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters, Janice Brown (Billy) of Brooklyn NY, Carolyn Henry (Fred) of Selma NC and Hazel Jones of the home. One brother Donahue Jones of the home, a special niece, Veronica Jones (Murdock) of the home, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. |
