Emma Lou Dunston,
raised by Sam and Sophie Adams, was born on September 4, 1935 in Wake
County North Carolina. She was called home on September 8, 2002 at Duke
University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.
Emma was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She was
surrounded by family and friends until the time she was called home to be
present with the Lord. Although she is and will be greatly missed, we know
she is in a better place. She has entered into His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise blessing His name all the day
long. She will be most remembered for her Christ-centered conversation that
was displayed daily in her Christian walk.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories three children, Melvin
McMillan (wife, Zandra) of Raleigh NC, Jerry
McMillan of Zebulon NC, and Cheryl Massenburg
(husband, Michael) of Knightdale NC; six grandchildren, Antionette Hall
(husband, Lyndon), Chimise, Keenan, and Maurice
McMillan, Martima Leach, and Tiffany Rogers; two
greatgrandchildren; and an abundance of other relatives and friends.
