Donald Boyd departed this life suddenly on September 4, 2017 at Bridge Point Hospital in Washington, DC. Born as Donald F. Boyd but better known as "Quack Quack" was born June 26, 1962 to the late Shirley E. Boyd and William P. Boyd. Donald was raised in Southeast Washington, DC and attended Birney Elementary School, Douglas Jr High School, and then Francis High School. Upon completing Francis High School, he then attended Phelps Educational School with the trade in Barbering. He was the most cheerful person always willing to lend a hand to those in need no matter what the situation was. Donald was the man with the biggest smile that would brighten a whole room. On June 26,2010 Donald & Theresa were joined in Holy Matrimony after dating for over 6 years.

 

Donald was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Melkhia Stewart, his two aunts Jacquelyn Robinson & Gertrude Williams; & his three uncles Randolph Williams, Hilliard Williams, & Terry Williams.

 

Donald leave to cherish his memories, his wife Theresa Tolbert-Boyd, one daughter, Mya Tolbert, one son, Randen Tolbert; two sisters: Janice Stewart, Wanda Boyd Jones (Nathaniel Jones); three brothers: William Boyd (Shawn Boyd), James Boyd, Leroy Boyd; A mother-in-law, Mary Ann Tolbert; Sister-in-law, Angela Tolbert; Brother-in-law, Rueben Bolden; three aunts: Wanda Johnson, Alberta Williams, Sharrion Boyd; six uncles: Mike Williams (Trina Boyd), Mannie Boyd, Willie Boyd, William Boyd, John Boyd, James Boyd; one adopted daughter, Yolanda Coates; one god-sister, Cynthia Taylor; one adopted brother, Jerome Jackson; nine nieces; twelve nephews; eleven great nieces; eleven great nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
