Mr. David Lee Hardy,
son of the late Jessie and Mozelle Hardy, was born May 27, 1952 in Wake
County, North Carolina. He departed this life on September 9, 2005 at Wake
Medical Center, Raleigh, North Carolina.
He completed his education at James E. Shepard High School in
Zebulon, North Carolina. Most of
David's life was spent as farm laborer. Whatever David chose to do he made
the best of it. He was a warm wonderful loving brother and fhend to his fellowman, always willing to help anyone
at anytime he could. David will be missed by his family and
friends. He leaves to cherish his loving memory: five sisters, Mattie Ruth
Kent of Smithfield, NC, Betty Lou Hardy and Geraldine Hardy of Wilson,
North Carolina, Janice Faye Squirewell. (Amos) of
Zebulon, North Carolina and Angier Hardy of Wendell, North Carolina; three
brothers, Jimmy Kent of Durham, North Carolina, James 0. Hardy (Martha) of
Garner, North Carolina and Jessie Ray Hardy of Zebulon, North Carolina; four
aunts, Eula Pearl Wall and Gerine Hardy of
Raleigh, North Carolina, Flora Mae Kent of Smithfield, North Carolina and
Ada Hardy of Apex, North Carolina; two uncles, Thurman Hardy of Raleigh,
North Carolina and Thaddeus Kent of Newark, New Jersey; nine nieces; six
nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
