Obituary Mrs. Cheryl Denise McMillan Massenburg was born to the late Melvin McMillan, Sr.and Emma Lou Dunston on October 25, 1957 in Washington, DC. She was called to rest on October 12, 2003 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC. Cheryl received her education at Enloe High School. She was a former employee for Austin Foods. On November11, 1989 Cheryl was united in marriage to Michael Lee Massenburgwhom she remained faithful and devoted to. As well as being a loving and devoted wife and mother, she was helpful to anyone who needed her.  She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Michael Lee Massenburg; her daughter, Antionette McMillan-Hall (Lyndon) of San Antonio, Texas; her son, Maurice Antwan McMillan(Quanunita) of Knightdale, NC; four step-children, Aschante,Michael, Jr.and Marcus all of Zebulon and Marcheta of Raleigh;four grandchildren, Micah, Akiah, Quaniqua and Jimi; seven brothers, Melvin "Pete" McMillan of Raleigh, Jerry McMillan of Zebulon, Roland McMillan of Old Fort, NC, Ronnie McMillan ofWilmington, Melvin McMillan of Marion, NC, James McMillan of California and Frankie McMillan of Old Fort, NC; sister, Sonya Forney of Rutherfordton, NC father and mother-in-law, Willie and Ada Massenburg of Wake Forest; a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives andfriends.     A heart of gold stopped beating, two shinning eyes are at rest God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes he best. God knows You had to leave us, butyou did not go alone For part of us went with you, the day God calledyou home. To some you will be forgotten, to othersjustpart of the past; But to us, who loved and lost you, your memory will always last.
